Quite well written but too much focus on the nasty side of human nature to be an enjoyable light read.

Hmmm...not fun! Not my old Jack at all. Trite, not credible action scenes, way too talky - quite shallow really. Lacked the depth and strength of characterisations in earlier JR books. Only the first chapter or two felt like real Reacher. No thanks - that's my last Reacher book.
