One of the few movies that made me glad I invested the time in it. Intriguing, provoking, deep, dramatic. Excellent acting by all.

Had I known that this was a Cannes Festival winner, I would not have wasted the precious 20 minutes that I invested in trying to see what the hell point this piece of drivel was trying to say.

Incomprehensible from the start. Put up with 20 minutes of endless vague ramblings, obfuscations and flashbacks, or were they flash-forwards?

OKish if a little convoluted. plenty of violence - and some very tolerable tender moments. I tend to quickly get irritated by the stupidity and incredible stories in so many of today's movies. Not this one. The climax I found a little confusing, but a little unexpected twist helped.

Started with low expectations and they were confirmed. The "story" has so many holes in it, it leaks from start to end. One of the few trash movies I managed to watch all the way through, though.

Good average action movie with some thought included. Sometimes hard to follow, but that's not unusual. Nice changes of loyalty here and there to keep you guessing. Irritatingly tense and monotonous music to keep telling you how you should be feeling. Never let that up, sadly.

Another example of why the movie industry must surely collapse. These days, too often even big names do not guarantee even a tolerable viewing. Two talented actors tied down by dreadful misdirection.

Bad Santa meets Diehard meets Home Alone meets Kill Bill with not a scrap of originality or culture. Script must have been written by someone sitting on the pot for three hours.

My wife claims she understood the story. Maybe I am getting old. Not one part of this seemed genuinely connected to any other. Lots of empty yack and violence, and zero satisfaction. Wasted two hours of my life. Craig's worst mistake, taking this part.

I'm barely halfway through and I'm willing to give this five stars. Also, since rotten tomatoes has given it a bad score, I can be pretty sure it's fantastic.
