Not false portrayal for the time that this movie tries to capture but like the rest of the defence based movies, this one too failed to keep it real and least dramatisation with a few things. However, jahnvi Kapoor and Pankaj tripathi pilled the movie really well with their conviction of the characters and ofcourse their craft. Whilst, the portrayal of brother did not seem convincing in the movie by the actor. Also, the dialogues by Pankaj tripathi are spectacular and deserve a mention. Moreover, jahnvi seems to have done a lot of hardwork for this role. Kuddos to the actors but not great direction. So great acting by the two actors and the mother but hate the over romanticization and unreal portrayal of defence services in movies.
