Disappointing ...though the beautiful visuals promised a lot .. Very pretty to watch . Emma remained an unlikable character from start to finish, posing like an arrogant doll in most scenes, with stiff acting and delivery. None of the actors came alive in reality ,seeming to move on a two dimensional frieze ( beautifully coloured ) Miranda Hart provided light relief, but remained Miranda Hart playing Miss Bates. Harriet's portrayal was delightful and probably the most engaging of them all . Probably might watch again ..
