Brilliant. Both Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington are superb. Great interpretation of the John Grisham book; unlike many movie adaptations, this doesn't spoil the original story but adds to it.

Loved it. Matt Damon is great, I think this is one of his better films (alongside The Departed). And Danny Devito is perfect for Matt Damon's partner - exactly who you would picture when reading the book. Captures the John Grisham story really well. Perfect to kill time during lockdown. Just can't believe it took me 23 years to discover this movie. It's a well kept secret.

Stumbled across this on Netflix during lock-down, and it was refreshingly a much better film than what I expected. Brilliant acting and music by the two leads; catchy, authentic songs; great story-line; and overall captures the world of musicians true to its form.
