This was an excellent moving movie. Although you knew this was dealing with a dark time in history it showed that all owners were not cruel or non caring. I loved this movie, to see the confidence Teds wife had in her husband's judgment , beautiful.

This movie deserves more than a 3.7 . I get it, why a lot of white people would be uncomfortable and slightly paranoid and squeamish, it is very difficult to watch this travesty and not feel appalled by these action. (Sidenote that is if there is any compassion for humanity in the heart and I believe there is) I appreciated this film because it even dealt with the phrase," Angry black woman", no humanbeing would desire being looked at as someone's property to be mistreated and abused for the pleasure of the abuser. Bravo I loved it.
