It started out nice, if with the "traditional" lifestyle, stay at home mum, tough emotionally stunted father. And then it fell apart gradually. The father becoming more and more oblivious to his childrens acting out. The booyah creeping closer to the surface, never asking the right question. The teenagers not daring to trust their father's understanding, keeping secrets instead. And then lies to hide lies and evations to avoid being found out, a total bailout of morals and ethics and backbone. Beautiful landscape and life in a small town covers so much that is rotten.

Very innocent in the worst way, full of keeping things hidden in that oldfashioned Victorian way. The kids act really immature. Maddie really dresses lika a teenager instead of a 40 year woman.
