⭐⭐⭐⭐
Although it had some similarities to saw, it really was not too predictable. The movie starts out very strong and left me on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. The Cinematography was astounding, capturing many angles and making spaces look much bigger than they really are. The rooms very creative, although I didn't understand how some of them were solved. Although it is an elimination style movie like saw, there was really only one time when I correctly predicted who would die, the rest weren't to easy to figure out. The trailer did give the first scene away too much to the point that I new what would happen in that room. To me, The First escape room(heat), and the last one(The old room) were the scariest just case of the emotion the actors played and just based on my own fears. Another little problem is that I really wasn't able to figure out any of the clues on my own. In the 8-Ball room, I have no clue how Zoey solved that thing where you moved the squares around, making me feel a little lost. The connection to all of the people I didn't realize until much later in the movie, and the possibility of a sequel is hinted at the end. Not a "Scary" movie but I would definitely recommend it if you want a thriller that will make you feel as if you are trying to escape for your life.
