This movie is utter mystery. It leaves so many questions on your mind than answers. I was completely missing and confused. Also, was kinda itchy to see other characters other than the familiar ones.
Another part that kept me on edge was the scene where this Spanish woman showed up. Couldn't make out a thing.
Another scene was the animals. What was the point of the animals? I'm not judging though. It was just messed up for me. Believe me, I had to strain my ears and my eyes the whole time to make meaning from everything that was going on.
I was also confused about the characters. No details, no history, no nothing. Just some physical qualities, confusing shared little stories, some lists in there and most of all, mistrust. There was no connection
I don't know if the movie intended to project humanity to be the cause of war or something. And the end! The end left me bothered about the suspense. I've watched so many movies with suspense. But this movie left me with so much suspense. Way too much suspense. Why did have to end that way? 😢
Funniest part is, I had to literally keep my phone around my reach throughout the entire sitting for the movie. Why? I had to keep searching for meanings of certain scenes I didn't get on Google. And the answers are even more quizzical than the movie itself.
I love the fact that it wasn't cliché. It was beyond imagination and anticipation. I kinda enjoyed it because I love mystery movies as I mentioned earlier.
I suggest though that the movie should be categorized well. It didn't seem like a Horror/Drama type of thing. The genre is clearly and suggestibly Mystery/thriller or something like Mystery/Horror. See.
