As good as Masterpiece gets. It is pure top shelf drama and more engaging than anything that either Netflix or HBO have produced/offered. An epic story perfect for our times. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things, sometimes just to survive.

Surprisingly thoughtful, slightly provocative and very entertaining.

An excellent film that brings you into the acts of random terror, the fundamentalist minds of the ravaging terrorists and the heroism of the heroes that emerge, true heroism that you will linger long after the credits roll. Dev Patel is the central character and represents the nobility of the ordinary man who will rise above his servile level to the extraordinary. The terrorists while senselessly murdering there fellow men appear as children without sense or soul. Dev Patel is a wonder and the supporting cast was excellent. There were no exceptions.
