First of all, I'm not a Superman or superhero die hard fan and I don't read the comics but I'm not a complete dunce on superheroes so I decided to take a chance with superman&lois and it was the most boring and depressing thing I've seen on tv in recent times. Tyler is an amazing actor no doubt, but I don't see the superman in him. Not working for me🤷🏾‍♂️ Lois lane, yeah maybe a tad bit old for Tyler but she's alright. Now the twins. They should just find a way to kill them off because - especially the emo one. I just think he is annoying as he complains and nags about everything. And most of the time, he is just being whiny and ungrateful. He nags about the implication that he might be the one out of the twins to not have powers - then he gets powers. He then nags about how everyone is treating him like a ticking time bomb (which imo is needed since he almost killed a bunch of kids) then he nags about how he will not be like his father (power wise) because of his human DNA like that is anybody's fault. He NEEDS to go! The footballer kid is a bit cool but I feel he doesn't emote anything other than rainbows and blind acceptance. It's as if he doesn't have a say for himself. I mean he just left his whole glorious life in metropolis and skips over to bum town smallvile without any...anything. I was expecting he would give his parents a hard time for the sudden move esp since he's the one losing so much but nope. Seems a bit unrealistic. I think my major issue with the show beside the annoying kids is just the bland story going on. It's just not working, I'm sorry and I'm 3 episodes in. That's enough rope given.

I've never cried for a movie as much as I did for Holding The Man. It was so heart wrenching. The acting was also raw and realistic. Everything about the movie just hit right. The pacing was just on point enough not to bore you or make you forget the bane of the story. When I remember it was based on a true story, I get a whole 'nother level of sadness. Also that Rufus wainwright's forever and a year was perfect for this story.
