FIFA 21 feels very similar to last years game with minor gameplay tweaks. Feels much less realistic than the impressive PES 2021. I have bought this game since the 90s but this could be my last, as a fan of career modes, there have been little cosmetic changes. The training of players has been restructured, but not in a good way. The exclusion of FCC makes the game less involved without the ability to unlock new content. Even the PS5 upgrade with new Haptics on the DualSense cannot save this from being a truly terrible game. I will be playing the PS4 version of PES until next year. EA Sports have completely lost their way, focusing too much on in-game purchases and very little on the gamers that have made this franchise a success. If you want to focus heavily on in-game purchases, you need to make a stripped down version “Free to play”. You cannot continue charging big money for a game that’s barely different. AWFUL! :-(
