Emani Love

Nice movie for the 50s but like I said prior it lacked inclusivity. I love that the Broadway of this film has inclusivity of different races. There’s clearly an ulterior agenda behind the movie but overall if I were to watch it without depth it’s a nice movie.

The accents sound super forced and fake . The acting is mid.

I really enjoyed this series. My favorite characters in this series are Sanji, and dracule mihawk. I never saw the anime until after this series and I felt like each character was super similar to the cartoon version. If you have seen the anime first the truth is you may not like this series, it’s vastly different from the live action in several ways but the personality of the characters are very similar. I would recommend this series to my friends who love live actions and anime’s.

The actresses are a bit boring in this one.

Season 2 is so good ! The music is amazing a lot better than season 1. I love the Sweeney Todd and Chicago references. I’m hoping they do RENT next.

Within the first 25 minutes I could tell I wouldn’t like this movie. It wasn’t funny and Lauren London is a horrible actress. It was like the clashing of two comedians. I expected more funny moments from this movie but was not impressed and the plot of having a interracial relationship where the black father disapproves of his black daughters white boyfriend is outplayed. Haven’t we seen this enough in other movies like Something New, Guess Who, and Death at a funeral? Poorly executed movie that made interracial relationships seem unacceptable (as if it were the 1950s) even though they are more acceptable today. Lacked quality in cast and dialogue -1/5 stars.

Bad acting , nice story though. The music in the back is very confusing at times too because it contradicts what’s going on.
