I started engaged with the film when it was describing the fungi's ability to break down matter and recycle but after the film started going into the experiences people had when consuming the mushroom and how it helped them yadda yadda I think that's when the film went downhill. The doc was professionally made and the graphics were nice to look at but I think the narrative was quite obvious and I only wish more important topics were explored in greater detail. Also this idea of accessing a higher consciousness is complete hogwash. So I'm concerned this film appeals to the 'spiritual' crowd which is also a poorly defined bogus concept.

The lame music every 5 minutes was annoying but overall, watchable.
