this game was only suggested to me (not personally) I had no idea about the series but then found Xenoblade 2 and remember hearing how great the series is, then the remake got announced so I bought both of them (2 first) and in under 3 months spent 350 hours on Xeno 2 and loved every second of it. I stayed up to 12 o'clock to play XCDE at launch (and it was my first time doing that) and beat the game the same week and the extra story in the other week (and here's where review mode kicks in). the story was completely unpredictable and filled with several twists and turns (the mid-game on the mechonis was a bit messy). story 10/10. the music was just to die for, the old country style on the bionas felt like I was exploring a vast open field with greenery and vegetation all the way until the edge of the sea. the mechonis theme felt like i was an outsider, an intruder to a place that wasn't known by anyone. music 10/10. the art style and graphics were just fantastic and fits the style of game and themes they were going for. graphics 10/10 this game is a perfect 30/30 for me.
