The plot and story through out this entire trilogy is so jarring and upsetting to any Star Wars fan, it's simply unforgivable. While The Last Jedi was horrendous story-wise, this movie single-handedly negates Return of the Jedi and the entire first trilogy. Return of the Jedi makes you feel hopeful at the end that all your favorite heroes have a brgihter future ahead, but this movie leaves you with a bitter taste and feeling about the Star Wars universe at the end of it. The acting, sound fx, visual fx, and soundtrack are all as good as can be, so kudos to the actors and crews. It's just too bad Disney, JJ Abrams, and the writers phoned in the story and plot. Imagine having the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a literal guideline for how to make interconnected stories within Disney, yet no one at Disney thought this trilogy deserved one cohesive plot. Truly a shame.
