I live in Albuquerque. I saw all this in real time. This movie is ridiculous. I regret paying $7.00 to rent it. It pays more attention to the back stories of the prominent characters, than it does to the victim's and their families. I love Mel Gibson. That being said, the script was written as though he took hundreds of old, worn out, predictable lines from movies past. The direction is shabby and the whole production is 3rd rate. The powers that be had a chance to tell this horrific story to the masses. Perhaps even giving someone the strength to come forward with new information. They blew it. Shame has fallen upon them. And they owe an apology to the families of those poor women.

I believe you shouldn't do a remake on perfection. That being said, Brand came oh so close. I adore the "Arthur" w/Moore. I had no desire to watch a remake. But.....I recently did so. It's NOT a remake. It's a re-do. And I loved it.

I saw this when it came out. I laughed so hard, I had to go back a 2nd time to catch what I missed by laughing. I recall 2 lines that made me laugh to tears: "Oh, you're a hedge!" & "Perry's a dead man."

Just another reason to love and crush on Jeffrey Rush. A remarkable love story. Love of music The love of playing music. The love of 2 people. The love of humanity.

My grandma was 29 when this movie was released. She told me that it was unlike any movie previously. And when Rhett spoke those famous words, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" the entire theater gasped. It was the 1st time a cuss word was spoken on screen.

It's very real. At times I feel like I'm eavesdropping. Not over played. Aniston made an impression in her crying scene. Vince Vaughn is always superb and his moments of subtlety are wonderful.

Friedel proves that confidence is sexy.

I knew, everyone knew. Now this movie just solidify's it. It needed to be told. As one review suggests, the movie was suppressed. I can see why. Depp, Whitaker are top notch. I don't remember hearing/reading anything about it coming out. Not disappointed.

This movie was so good, we watched it twice...in a row. Unfortunately, because it is one of the best movies we've ever seen, we will be struggling to find one adequate.
