It’s a cheesy romance. Predictable and no thought is required to enjoy it and see ALL of the layers. But that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. If you’re into cheesy rom-cons and don’t care that it’s very cliché and predictable, then it’s a super fun and romantic movie. It’s a little cheesy but still super enjoyable. And if that’s not your thing, than oh my god is this movie fun to roast. I ironically enjoyed it with a couple of friends. Holy cow we were ripping jokes and laughing the whole damn time. It was so much fun. As someone who’s not big on romance I can say this was a great mocking experience. And my bestie who is big on rom-coms adored this film. So it clearly has something great about it. Sure it’s not winning a Pulitzer, but it’s a fun movie. On a night when you need a no-think plot and light movie, this is definitely my recommendation.
