This movie lacked any emotional connection to Thames audience. It seemed want to dive into into it with out being used get connected to any of the characters. Quickly we were served bloody cats, weird processions, and some strange neighbor. The father never seemed to truly show the pain of losing, now in this version, his daughter. The wife's acting was far better but a she had little to work with. The pace was too fast, it became an action thriller more than a horror story. Really not much to like but going to get a copy of the old movie and erase this from my mind! By the way they couldn't even match the opening seen to the closing. Car doors open in the opening scene, closing the son as locked in!!
