Beautifully written from a mother's perspective regarding her relationship with her child, husband/ex-husband, new significant other, family, and friends and how they all worked together to help navigate through this rocky (and sometimes unforgiving) road we travel called life. At one point I thought I wanted to curse Mark Ray but he truly redeemed himself as a blessing to Jacquie and her entire "family" through their journey. Wish I had had the opportunity to read this book before I met him a few years ago. Good thing I couldn't put down the book...such a great read. I know Grant is smiling and keeping the door open for your sequel.
