Crystal Young – Google

I am almost done watching season one and I must say I am impressed at the depth of the multiple story lines within this show. The talented actors and actresses have surpassed all of my expectations. Now that I have given this show the praise it unrecognizably deserves there are some flaws that I truly hope get ironed out in much anticipated future seasons. The show is starting to get very high school drama oriented. The music is great but blares between scenes and for me anyway it takes away from the show. Why oh why does it have to be so loud. A couple story lines are very cliche and have transparent coarse and endings. All American gives a multitude of mixed emotions with real world and cultural issues and struggles. This is a definite binge worthy show and I look forward to having this show around for many seasons to come.

I truly want to express how much I enjoy New Amsterdam. The casting is overall fantastic and yes...some political points are made prominent in some episodes but in my opinion it doesn't take away from the show or story lines. After reading some of the other reviews I feel like I may be the only one that thinks Max (Ryan Eggold) has started mimicking the way Raymond Reddington (James Spader) acts in the show The Blacklist. I noticed it is mostly in his mannerisms and at times in the deliverance of lines. That aside this is an amazing show.If you are looking for a binge worthy show give New Amsterdam a shot.
