This movie is terrible. One of the things that bothered me SO MUCH was that THE DEAF GIRL TALKS. Deaf people CAN talk, but they use sign language. In this movie the deaf girl, the boy, and the family all TALK while doing sign language. PEOPLE DON’T DO THAT. Also this movie is way to similar to “A Quiet Place”. I’m not going any deeper into that. The girl also has very cliche “Over protective” parents. I know that they exist in real life, but they are in almost every movie with a child as a semi main character. Also, the monsters aren’t scary. At all. They fail to give me the chills, to scare me, to get ANY emotion out of me. Also, I think it is ridiculous how in the traffic scene, a lot of the cars were HONKING THEIR HORNS. I know this movie wanted a traffic scene, but this is crazy. Pretty much everybody would have known to stay silent. Also, WHY WOULD ANYBODY FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC RULES IN AN APOCALYPSE?! It is just stupid at this point. By the way, the blood in this movie looks like they squirted ketchup on somebody and called it a day. At the traffic scene, I just stopped watching. I couldn’t lose anymore brain cells watching the garbage. Anyway, this movie sucks. Period.
