Why has this series got as high a rating as it does?? Can someone explain it to me...as someone who has ACTUALLY read the books??? There is barely one thing really appealing about this adaptation.. The various celebrity guest stars added into each episode. Other than that, the writing is sub-par, the accuracy of character portrayal (as developed in the books) is clearly woke, the energy level sorely lacking, and on top of all that...the snooze factor is extremely high. Given a choice between the books, the first set of movies, and this streaming series: I'D PREFER THE BOOKS!

A modern twist on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", this story was light-hearted, funny, romantic, and even sexy. A lot of A-List talent portrayed the main (and supporting) characters in this flick, and I for one, enjoyed it from beginning to end. Let the critics say what they will...for a fun poke at the pratfalls that come with single life and the family interactions that play into that...I highly recommend "Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past".

I'm sorry, but to be completely honest...the writing sucks! The character of Naomi is poorly written. I mean, for someone who is a senior in high school and about to graduate, she is acting more like a child half her age! If I found out something so remarkable about my past that I was willing to do anything to find out about it, the FIRST people I would/should ask, would be my parents. She keeps everything compartmentalized, relies solely on her friends to help her get answers, and doesn't even have the wherewithal to ask "Dee" (aka Hawkman), as an alien himself, the right questions that could lead her to the answers she seeks. I give it a D+.
