I think people giving this movie a bad review didnt do ANY research on the movie they were going to see; and instead went in blindly. This movie is called SPENCER her maiden name, this movie is about the last three days before she left the royal family. For those saying it made Princess Diana look narcissistic I don’t understand that- she’s someone who was normal and had EMPATHY and for that she was punished and shamed for. She loved her kids, and didn’t want them to become like them. This may just be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, Kristen Stewart did absolutely wonderful and got her look PERFECT. The sets, costumes, and everything looked beautiful. It all has a very unsettling feel- but is that not how we feel when we see the royal family? Those expecting this movie to be about her death- I don’t understand either. This movie gave her justice and showed the world that it wasn’t what it seemed to be; and how she was mistreated. The LGBT thing to me seemed like a filler, but who knows what the real reason is to them adding that, possibly to add some lighthearted energy(?) I just hope she did have people around her that did make her laugh, and did make her happy. She struggled, we all struggle! That’s the point. I ask those who left a negative review to rewatch the film, and from a different set of eyes.
