I loved this book. I'm not Irish myself but I read all the character dialogue in a soft Irish brogue. The imagery pulled me in. I was there. The boring little Irish town. The cold streets of Liverpool and most definitely, cocktail in hand on a deck on Fire Island. So many facets to this story. The heartbreak, the hope, the unexpected joy and finally the feeling of home. Beautifully written.
