I cry, weeping hysterically with each finish because the life of Samuel Pepys was so inspiring and full of ups and downs. This diary is a tragedy, a comedy, a romance novel, and an informing source all rolled into one. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something to open their eyes to how blinded and crippled our society has come to true legendary status. Samuel Pepys should be on the face of all currency, the name printed in all history books, and the man thought of as the most influential human being who has ever graced this planet by all.
