Being a fan of the Hellboy movies I approached this movie with caution. However, I was really surprised as I quickly began to feel comfortable with the new Hellboy. The new Hellboy is great, truly gritty and the subsequent encounter with other demon like creatures are action packed. The movie is brutal and gory but equally humorous and fun. Only complaint is that it's a little long. Half an hour shorter and it would have been perfect

Awful. The acting was dreadful, the dialogue atrocious, but on the plus side.... it had a happy ending.
