A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood was able to give us a glimpse into the way Fred Rogers devoted his life to serving humanity. Of course Tom Hanks did a great job as well as Mathew Rhys, Susan Kelechi and the rest of the cast. I was especially impressed by Mathew Rhys perfomance as Lloyd Vogel.
It is rare treat to see a movie that is able to express the true beauty of a human being who lived their life to their fullest potential and, in the process, touched so many lives with wisdom and kindness. Fred Rogers was a remarkable man and this movie was able to show who he was in a very creative way. Overall a great and very important movie for this time in US history!
