Like other reviews have mentioned, yes, it is not an action movie. I will admit I walked into the theater and sat in the chair believing I was about to be serenaded by fight scenes and sword clinking. About 15 minutes into the film I realized I was sorely mistaken. I watched as the scenes drowned on, dancing into each other, and fell in love with the craft of the film instead. Even though throughout the entire film I felt myself constantly waiting for a battle to erupt, and frame after frame I was let down, the cinematography, audio, and overall beautiful scenery of the entire film kept me planted in my seat. Where I did not move, and could not move, even for a bathroom break. Go see it for the experience, that much is worth it.
