I haven’t ever played much Fallout, just a bit, so I didn’t see the similarities nearly as much as I felt it had more in common with games like Borderlands (humor and characters), BioShock (especially the art design and feel of the “something’s not right” society), and even Dead Space. I really love the game so far, it’s everything I want in a game of this type and rewards careful play and soaking it all in.
