More like a 2.5 or 3 but eh. I like the books a lot and the series is ok. A lot of the changes make it feel about as rushed and hollow as the last season of GoT. They are condensing too much in the short amount of episodes and seasons. They are adding a bunch of new side stories with acting I enjoy, but take away from actually building the foundation with the main cast that should be the main focus of the first season. Why the pushed meeting thom, why they made Lan do the warder thing. Why they changed mats back story and nynaeves I dont really understand. They took a lot of the soul of the characters in the books. Changed their personalities and are just going by what they think would be better even when jordan himself made an amazing and diverse world. This show is inspired by the series at most, not based. I can only hope the changes made now dont ruin the series even more down the road. Maybe they need a new hand at the wheel directing the path.
