It is fun. Enjoyable. Also disappointing. With that being said half of the game is just the same as BOTW. Same formula of 4 main boss plus 1, 4 "boss dungeon", powers from the bosses and go to final boss. The new ultra hand powers sure makes it fun to experiment but that only lasted a while in view of the same old map. Reduced sense of exploration as those places HAS been explored in BOTW. The sky is just a gimmick. Very little of the sky island is actually decent. Majority is repetitive. Whereas the Depths is just all gloom and dark. No sense of reward to explore. The game trailer gives a sense of "there are so many surprises waiting for you at all these new places" but reality is it is just the same old land. You reach the place that intrigue you and there is nothing. Enemies are also the same with previous game. Many "new looking" enemies but the way they fight is the same. Mostly looks and no substance. Lynels is still the strongest enemy and that is already in previous game. Nothing changed except the looks. To be honest, Nintendo should have just make a new map from scratch for the main land and the game would be 5 times better. Honestly, it feels like cash grab game to me. I hope the next iteration brings new adventure on brand new map with brand new plot objectives with same gameplay mechanics.

Game looks awful. The world feels so empty, cartoony and static. Characters moves with low fps like, around 4 fps which is unacceptable for a pokemon game. Unbelievably glitchy. This game is missing the allure of the previous titles (except pokemon sword/shield which sucks). I wish game freak would go with elements from Pokemon Arceus and reference that as the mainline pokemon game onwards. Arceus was such a good game in turn give me high expectations for this game. There is no mystery narrative and no driving objective for this game. You came to a new town, accidentally get a bike pokemon, go to school and help out to beat 3 main quest. No driving mystery, absent of good rpg elements, poor narrative, no thrillers and such a predictable pace especially with the herb thing. AWFUL. Waste of money.

GIMME THE THIRD INSTALLMENT PLEASE ITS TOO GOOD

I started playing the series since friends of mineral town on gameboy. A lot of improvement has been done to the series. However, this particular series, despite having an improved farming simulation mechanics, it feels lacking compared to previous titles. Town is too small. Character design and personality feels off. The sprites is just ridiculous now. Gameplay vibes just doesn't feel like "story of season" and more like a new series in of itself. The music doesn't match the mood. And finally the graphic, for a switch game, is just substandard. Oh and the loading time despite the update is wayyy too long. I understand that the director is different this time but a review is a review. I hope they don't mess up Rune Factory 5.

First 15 minutes was a bit slow. Then the plot start to thicken. Let me just say, it is a great movie no doubt. However it still can't beat Kimi no Nawa. The story delivers mixture of feelings from love and hope to sadness and despair. All in all is 8/10. Kimi no Nawa is 9/10.
