Exceptional in every possible way. One of the finest made films of this decade. What struck me is the character portrayal of this film. Most realistic characters and the performances by each actors.
Film is slow from the beginning, it may feel like the entire composition can be made in a 1 hr duration. But what I felt was this how it has to be. Even the silence has a story to utter. It has an inner soul.
A group of people which includes policemen, a doctor, a prosecutor, a sergeant, diggers and the killer. With three cars they travel according to the order by the killer. After finding the body they go back to the city.
In between this a lot of detailed dialogues interchange with each characters. Questions of faith, existence, relationships, absurdity has been some.
Ending is a simple one.
Best screenplay. Wonderful dialogues. It really feels like we are one among the team. Anatolian steppe has brilliantly captured. Half of the film is at night. A lot of lighting was supported by the headlamps of the vehicles. Metaphorically landscapes also speaks.
Recommend for all. Film gives us a clearer picture of organising dialogues and characters. Its syncs perfectly. A simple tale told as raw as it is.
