im a huge carpenter fan thats probably why i didnt love this film its not bad it just lacks the atmosphere that the first one had or eavin the old sequel i know its a diferent director but they could atleast make it more suspensful it had enough comedy to make you feel safe they were many plotholes but it does have the john carpenter stylish aproach sometimes it has the style oh halloween 1 and 2 but not the atmosphere the things i like was the score i loved it one other thing i liked was the charecters were really likable like you really did care for them i just wish they wouldnt just use them as plot devices and many of them are just there to be killed by michael but lets see i also liked the fact that it wasnt as gory as i tought it would be i mean it is but it had the style of halloween 2 1981 type of gore it wasnt to much and they are mostly off screen they wanted to focus more on the suspense wich it would have work if it wasnt for misplaced comedy the movie isnt bad i liked it but i wish i loved it they are so many good things here that make the little bad desitions look like big ones because this movie had way more to offer i do believe however that its best then all the sequels and remakes atleast they tried with this one it does feel like the closest to the original after all not a bad film at all just a good film with poor choices

this isnt a bad film but its filled with subplots that dont seem to go anywhere i loved the fight scene between batman and superman i understood why they they didnt like each other i actually dont hate jeese esienberg as lex luthor as many do because i tought his motivations were clear i understood why he hated superman i loved so many things about this film wich that is something i hate too becaue there is stuff that seem soo stupid that just appear out of nowhere i really liked the first half and the fight but after that it seemed really rushed to make it obvious that there was going to be a justice league sequel i know why this happened they had to different writers and as far as i know they worked on seperate ways wich makes sense why this movies is both good and disappointing and i didnt like that batman just starts killing i do know the story about why he turned out to be colder than before but they didnt show it in the film the only reason i knew it its because i read the comics but if your film is made just for comic fans to understand well thats just lazy writing i had a shadow of batmans charecter but didnt really felt for him since we know so little about this version of batman not a bad film just really mixed

it starts out like a teen comedy then a dark comedy then an action movie with drama and serious tones but for some strange reason it works its a really well balanced film trying to make fun of the superhero genre on a satirical way but at the same time defends the genre giving homage to it its really colourful wich i loved it looks like a comic book the charecters can seem a bit unlikable but thats what gives our protagonist a hard time and it makes him do something about it its like those martin scorsese movies in where a charecter isnt good or bad theyre like in the middle but you still care for them the main charecter is a straight up good guy wich meets with people that wanna help but in a diferent violent way its violent lighthearted and a bit sad and funny too its really well balanced
