A very interesting perspective on human nature. I understand this isnt a totally scientifically reviewed piece of work but none the less it does get one thinking rather deeply about our history as a species.
This is a topic that is definitely neglected in our day and age and honesty always has been. Only recently have we gotten enough insight into evolution and biology to draw these conclusions, we didn’t even know were a species of ape until about 1 to maybe 3 centuries ago.
This book is always written in an a colloquial manner which demonstrates Chris Ryan’s understanding of the topics and thereby makes them easier and more appealing to comprehend.
I’ve reread this book twice and am currently broaching it a third time.
Books I’d recommend based on it are: “Sapiens”, “The Story of The Human Body” and “Behave”
