First off a general summary:
Like most F2P Gundam games it relies heavily on "Gacha" where the premium currency is 1:1 roughly, ignoring the "deal" you get for buying a larger amount, and you need 3 for one roll with max per roll being 30 premium currency. As far as I can tell there is no PvE other than training missions that teach you the core parts of the game unfortunately. The PvP is not bad but players in countries like japan have played the game longer and may have slight advantages, other than that its Decent once you get the hang of it.
Combat:
The battle system is a rock-paper-scissors where one type does more damage to the other and is weak the other. You pick a mobile suit and take objective points, destroy enemy mobile suits and blow up the enemies base, which I enjoy doing and can do consistently due to no one bothering to guard it at all. There are two versions of PvP combat, Ground and Space, which are self explanatory, ones on the ground and the other is in space.
Weapons:
There are a handful of different weapons you can use based on the mobile suit you chose, ranging from beam types and ballistic rounds. Beam guns require accuracy and hit pretty hard if they land but ballistic rounds is where i feel new player will center around as it seems to have some sort of auto aim if they are in your cross hairs. There are melee weapons as well which vary heavily on the Mobile suit you chose as well, they hit like trucks but skill is required to use them effectively while not getting yourself kill like a sitting duck due to the stress it will put on your mobile suit.
Mobile suits:
If you haven't already figured it out Mobile suit or MS, refers to the mech your player pilots. There are TONS from what I've seen, most tend to be the fodder types you see in the anime and manga's as well as standard/special Gundam units and notable enemy/ally units from the series.
Graphics:
seems to look like Wii or early ps3 graphics, there is nothing really special about it.
Controls:
You can get them down in a few games, there are also training modes that help you as well.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS GAME:
you are going to be grinding, a lot, if you are expecting to play this without dropping decent sum of money into this game. Yes you can earn premium currency but the rate is so abysmal and stretched so far from each other that by the time you do get enough someone would have had spent like 30~89 bucks and gotten 3 times that amount months ago. They have some garbage enchantment system that takes 70 hours to complete which gives one unit you chose per slot(max being like 5) stats to increase their ability in combat. the core game is actually pretty fun, as I played if for the entire day, but its not something I'll choose to play for a long period of time. You will eventually hit a soft paywall and that is where I think a lot of people will begin to fall off. This game is not for the long term and seems to be something for whales(people who are willing to gamble large sum of money on a single ingame purchase/item) with not a lot of time to enjoy playing.
3/5: Decent game, no real progression or ability to earn items. Not pay to win but pay for shortcuts/fast forward your character though Abysmal wait times, you might as well play warframe, its the same thing but not as obvious.
