Unconvincing, derivative, boring. Bandits on the moon seemed silly. Flying across a planetary ring protected by a bit of sheet metal a joke. I don’t mind scifi that flaunts science presenting fantasy but I was annoyed that this movie jumped in and out of a realistic portrayal of extraterrestrial environments. In the end I would have not been shocked by the entrance of Ming the Mercyless.
