I didn't find this particularly eye-opening. I do urge people to be mindful of the language used, though. There is no doubt a plant diet delivers so much of the nutrition we need. But my issue becomes interchanging the words 'protein' and 'meat'. Also, just because a high performing athlete is vegetarian or vegan does not mean they are a superior athlete due to only their diet. It absolutely helps but not a solitary factor. There are plenty of athletes that have extremely fine-tuned diets, that regularly have their blood tested and performance evaluated, that do include animal products. Also, be careful not to confuse a diet of mostly plants to mean vegetarian or vegan. Be aware that animal products are not all created equal. The message here is misleading for most people, i think.
