The movie that got failed by its trailer. People come to see “The A-Team”-style reckless and funny military action,.. and this is not the one. Instead, just the SEALs adventure. Luc Besson loves the underwater shooting, so the SEALs will finally show they are truly “navy”.

This movie is so meta.

First “Smokin’ Aces” movie was hilarious, a symphony of action. These ones turned into a symphony of trash, explicitly badly made (like, the background effects or explosions made so poorly that they don’t even try to pretend they are not poor). Maybe it was shot as a parody to the Z-movies; but trying to shoot a parody, they shot a Z-movie themselves.
