This film was awful. And sometimes, it just makes sense to NOT reinvent the wheel. No, I'm not talking about the movie. I'm talking about writing a review of this film. It's unnecessary. I don't need to add much to the already-posted review by Desislava Todorova ... which is completely "On The Money".
A word of advice for Mr. Nolan: Just because you're totally committed to practical effects and shooting/finishing on film doesn't make you a fine screenwriter ... or even a good director. Perhaps you should spend some time studying basic script and film structure. And while you're back at film school, dust off those chapters on chemistry between and development of your characters.
And Hey Warner Brothers ... Mr. Nolan needs to be reined in by some force of reason in the feature film business. The extraordinary resources that were wasted on this convoluted miscarriage truly boggle the mind.
