Terrible adaptation of a dated book, the emphasis on maintaining formulaic character tropes overwhelms an opportunity to have more realistic to the situation characters and instead wants to make the usual "main guy is sensitive and well intentioned" as opposed as exploring the "salvaje" aspect given. All in all, if it wasn't for all the sex and nudity, I'd stop watching after the second episode...
