I am a fan of the franchise. However, this one did disappoint.... severely. It was more like a lifetime movie about a girl that is terminally ill. I agree with other reviewers that it was a beautiful story. But that is not what I went to the movie to see. I thought that we were going to get more alien than more of a one-person journey during day one. It was a let down and unrealistic. Seriously!!! You are still chasing a piece of pizza as aliens are attacking? After the movie was over my husband and I sat there and looked at each other like, "What the heck did we just watch?"
