Played this for 2 hours when I was a kid in 2006. Didn't understand any of it so I dropped it. But now that I am way older I am able to play it more wisely. The combat is unique a little bit clunky at times but can be overlooked. Majority of the characters are likable, some are a bit irritating at first but once you progress through the game they will make more sense. The story though, to me is what made the game shine and the best part of it. Intriguing is the best word that I can describe it. And the second best in my opinion will be the music, and it is actually the same composer who did the Chrono series.
One flaw of the game would be Disc 2. Specifically the case where majority of it is in the narrative style of story telling instead of the first half where it is hands on experience. So to me that made the game way easier and faster to complete. Which is kind of bad in a way.
Nonetheless the game itself as a whole is really good. Would definitely recommend playing and finishing it.
