I remember the excitement I felt when 9 year old me created a character for the first time and playing through that introductory battle with Malistaire. It was unlike anything I had ever seen and I began to play it religiously, almost every day with my best friend David. I haven't talked to him in a while actually... I started playing again recently and fell in love all over again. I've found other people who played it when they were younger and picked it back up as adults. I'm 19 now, a Sophmore in college, and nothing brings me back to a simpler time like the music playing in the Commons, or the bustle at the Bazaar in Olde Town. Wizard101, the Wii, Minecraft, Animal Jam, Club Penguin: all these things are what makes up my childhood. I'm happy to see the game still up and running and I honestly miss the good old days. Maybe I'll call my childhood friends up for a gaming session.
