Broadchurch is an extremely well written and acted drama, delving into the deep motivations of the human psyche. Beginning with the unfathomable quandry of who could have murdered an 11-year-old boy and why it winds its way through almost everyone in the town and their connections to the boy and his family. In its final season, Broadchurch explores the brutal rape of a local woman and a host of unsavory characters surrounding her. As always, the linchpin of the series is the flinty relationship between the two leads, D.I. Alex Hardy (David Tennant) and D.S. Ellie Miller (Olivia Coleman). Warning, after watching the whole run, you'll continuously hear Alec Hardy's Scottish accented, "Mill-ah!"
