Be warned!! You need to pay extra for a subscription ($20+Tax per year) if you want to visit islands of friends. I bought a switch lite just for this game and was disappointed that I was asked to pay even more just to visit friends. This was a feature that used to be free in older animal crossing game and ac pocket camp. Not cool, Nintendo.
