H.M. Daring

I am definitely sticking with this series. So far, it is only for my love of the source material. The first episode was so rushed and full of exposition that we lose all feeling of the characters and their lives at Jordan. To rush the meeting in the Retiring Room and bring Mrs. Coulter in so early is so saddening. All major characters are paper thin and uninteresting. I am also unsure about my feelings about erasing the Gyptians as an ethnic group and rinsing them down into a group of people who like boats.
