Love this movie, but I'm not the kind of person to instantly give 5-star reviews bc I just think it's good and want other people to believe me. A lot of unexplored potential, but that's what you can expect from a cheap kids' movie with a short runtime. The villain is sexy and we could honestly use more of that in society.

Sub-par composition, unrealistic/unconvincing plot development, and severely underwhelming ending. The sequel is even more desperate and cliché. Not worth reading.

Doesn't even deserve this star. There's a lot of thing about this book that bothered me, but I'll save you the time and shorten it down to this: the author was too focused on stuffing in as many pop-culture references and "diverse" characters as they could that they forgot to make a plot.
