I've only had a chance to play for an hour so far, but I can honestly say I've never had so much fun getting my ass kicked. My carelessness lead me to be sick, starving, and wounded while lost in the wilderness without supplies. Exploration and especially combat requires planning and caution, but even though the consequences for recklessness might be dire, it's never "game over." That's what makes this game so fascinating!
