I recently had the opportunity to view a pre-screening of Emanuel. Although I had tearfully followed the aftermath of the tragic Mother Emanuel AME church shooting, I was moved even further by this film. It will take you from an anguished heart to a hopeful heart in one fell swoop, and will stimulate your understanding of what Amazing Grace truly feels like. The film is in limited release, showing on June 17th & 19th through Fathom Events. I cannot urge you more to see this film. If you miss the limited showings, help to create a demand for a more wider release. I believe that Emauel is one of the more important films of our time and deserves critical acclaim & broader attention.
